Frank Sinatra's Original Palm Springs Estate

Vogue Magazine Features Frank Sinatra Estate in Article “Palm Springs”

In their January 2011 Issue of Vogue Magazine, the Frank Sinatra Estate was featured in an article written by Tomasina Lebus entitled “Palm Springs: California’s desert playground provided the inspiration for Vogue’s fashion team” The article featured a variety of things about Palm Springs that gave them inspiration for the January Issue. Among others, the article included favorite hangouts, hotels, shopping, spa, and house, which Twin Palms was mentioned as favorite. Here’s a sample from the article:

“For an authentic slice of Rat Pack history, stay at Frank sinatra’s former Palm Springs residence. The Twin Palms estate, designed by E. Stewart Williams in 1947, was Sinatra and Ava Gardner’s hideaway. The crack in the bathroom sink (the result of Sinatra throwing a champagne bottle in a rage) remains, but the rest of the house has been lovingly restored with vintage designer furnishings. Mod cons, such as Wi-Fi and iPod connectivity both inside and outside, bring it bang up to date. The pool – Sinatra’s design – is shaped like a grand piano.
