Twin Palms was recently the backdrop of a charity event for the international animal welfare group, Animals Asia. The event held on September 29, 2011, was an evening filled with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a silent auction.

Twin Palms Frank Sinatra Estate has been officially approved as a Palm Springs Class 1 Historic Site by the Palm Springs City Council after the nomination by the Palm Springs Preservation Society in March 2011.
